Requires middle and high schools (grades 6-12) to include procedures and policies to prevent and respond to teen dating abuse in their comprehensive school safety plans, including defining teen dating abuse, prohibiting it on school grounds and at school activities, and specifying response procedures.

Mandates that schoolsite councils or school safety planning committees consult with local, state, or national organizations with expertise in teen dating abuse prevention when developing these policies.

Requires school districts to provide annual written notice to parents and guardians at the beginning of each school term about the teen dating abuse procedures and policies and how to file complaints.

Directs the Department of Justice and State Department of Education to contract with professional trainers to provide statewide training on teen dating abuse prevention to school districts and school personnel.

Defines "teen dating abuse" as physical, sexual, verbal, emotional, or technological conduct by a person to harm, threaten, intimidate, or control a dating partner, and defines "dating partner" regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression; becomes operative July 1, 2013.
