Specifies that both written and practical examinations shall be developed by the Office of Professional Examination Services of the Department of Consumer Affairs to test applicant competency and knowledge.

Removes previous provisions from Labor Code Section 3209.3 that defined acupuncturists' role in workers' compensation disability determinations.

Applies to all persons seeking licensure to practice acupuncture under the Acupuncture Licensure Act within the Department of Consumer Affairs.
