Expands permitted types of blanket insurance to include volunteer or governmental fire departments, emergency medical services companies, and similar organizations providing accident benefits to members performing sponsored activities.

Adds sports teams and camps as eligible entities for blanket insurance, covering participants, campers, employees, and supervisors for accident-related death, dismemberment, or medical expenses.

Establishes three new categories of blanket insurance: employers providing accident benefits to workers and guests; common carriers providing benefits to passengers and lessees; and entertainment production companies providing benefits to participants and workers.

Requires insurers to file new policy language with the Insurance Commissioner prior to issuance and authorizes the Commissioner to discretionarily add additional eligible entities for blanket insurance through letter orders posted on the Department of Insurance website.

Grants individuals insured under employer, carrier, and entertainment production company policies the right to request a certificate copy of the blanket policy from the insurer when they pay the premium.
