Authorizes the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training to evaluate military police officer training previously completed by law enforcement officers to determine if it meets current training requirements.

Allows the commission to consider previous military police officer training as a substitute for portions of the standard peace officer training and as part of the basic course waiver process.

Requires the commission to assess the content and transferability of military police training and identify any additional training requirements needed to complete certification.

Removes the previous requirement for the commission to report to the Legislature by January 1, 2014, on protocol development and eliminates provisions for modular training standards.
