ACR 100 Summary

• Designates 26 state highway segments, bridges, interchanges, and rest areas as memorials honoring deceased law enforcement officers, public servants, and community leaders across California.

• Creates specific named memorials including the Mark Bixby Memorial Bicycle Pedestrian Path on State Highway Route 710 in Los Angeles and the California State Engineer Memorial Interchange at Routes 5 and 50 in Sacramento.

• Honors California Highway Patrol officers killed in the line of duty from 1934 to 1997, including officers Saul Martinez, Charles Sorenson, Charles Lilly, James O'Connor, and others, by designating highway portions in their memory.
