Declares March 2012 as American Red Cross Month in California.

Calls upon California residents to become partners with the American Red Cross in emergency preparedness and disaster response.

Recognizes Red Cross achievements including response to 2,728 local disasters, assistance to 6,342 families, and training of 691,574 individuals in lifesaving classes during 2011.

Encourages California residents to support the Red Cross by learning emergency response procedures and donating blood, time, and financial resources.

Directs the Chief Clerk of the Assembly to transmit copies of the resolution to the American Red Cross and the bill's authors.
