Encourages California Community Colleges, California State University, and the University of California to adopt American Council on Education credit recommendations for military veterans.

Recognizes that veterans have gained valuable skills through military training and combat experience that should count toward college credit.

Notes that more than 2,300 colleges and universities nationwide already recognize American Council on Education endorsed transcripts as official documentation of military experience.

Acknowledges that veterans face obstacles returning to society including posttraumatic stress disorder and medical conditions, and that education can support their success.

Directs the Chief Clerk of the Assembly to transmit copies of the resolution to authors for appropriate distribution.
