Highlights notable Sikh American achievements including Representative Dalip Singh Saund (first Sikh American member of U.S. Congress, 1957-1963), Dr. Bhagat Singh Thind's civil rights advocacy, and Dr. Narinder Singh Kapany's invention of fiber optics.

Notes Sikh Americans serving as mayors in California cities including Yuba City, Livingston, El Centro, and San Joaquin, and recognizes the community's participation in interfaith dialogue.
