SB 1067 Summary

• Authorizes the City of Tulelake, California to enter into a mutual aid agreement with the City of Malin, Oregon for their respective police departments to provide mutual aid to each other when necessary

• Requires the mutual aid agreement to be reviewed and approved by the Commissioner of the California Highway Patrol before it becomes effective

• Adds Section 830.41 to the Penal Code to establish this authorization

• Approved by Governor on September 7, 2012
