CA SB1206

Adds prohibition on applying for new or replacement passports for minor children to the temporary restraining order automatically included in family law dissolution, nullity, or legal separation proceedings without written consent of the other party or court order.

Authorizes courts to include an asset freeze order in protective custody warrants for unlawfully detained or concealed children, freezing California assets of the party allegedly possessing the child.

Allows courts to terminate, modify, or vacate asset freeze orders upon noticed motion if the release of assets will not jeopardize the child's safety or best interest.

Requires immediate notice to depository institutions when a protective custody warrant is dismissed if an asset freeze order had been entered.

Effective September 7, 2012; known as "Keisuke's Law."
