• Extends the Medical Board of California's vertical enforcement and prosecution model (joint investigator and deputy attorney general assignments) from January 1, 2013 to January 1, 2014.

• Extends operation of the California State Board of Pharmacy and its executive officer authority until January 1, 2017, and subjects it to legislative policy committee review instead of sunset review.

• Extends operation of the Court Reporters Board of California and its Transcript Reimbursement Fund (providing shorthand reporting services to low-income litigants) until January 1, 2017.

• Extends the Electronic and Appliance Repair Dealer Registration Law and related enforcement provisions from January 1, 2013 to January 1, 2015.

• Extends the Health Quality Enforcement Section within the Department of Justice (investigating and prosecuting cases for the Medical Board, Podiatric Medicine Board, and Board of Psychology) from January 1, 2013 to January 1, 2014.
