Exempts early college high schools and middle college high schools from the 240-minute minimum schoolday requirement for high schools.

Reduces the minimum day of attendance to 180 minutes for pupils in grades 11-12 at these schools who are enrolled part-time in classes at California State University or University of California.

Reduces the minimum day of attendance to 180 minutes for pupils at these schools who are enrolled as special part-time students in community colleges and will receive academic credit.

Maintains the 240-minute minimum schoolday for pupils at early college or middle college high schools who are not enrolled in concurrent postsecondary education.

Establishes legislative findings that early college high schools are partnerships between secondary schools and community colleges designed to help underrepresented students earn a high school diploma and two years of college credit in five years or less.
