Requires the Department of Veterans Affairs to include information on homeless veterans in its strategic plan, including a review of goals and objectives for decreasing veteran homelessness

Mandates the department determine the total number of homeless veterans in California and how many received state or federal benefits

Requires the department to identify the number of homeless veterans needing multifamily or transitional housing and how many received benefits for those needs

Directs the department to transmit the strategic plan to the Chairpersons of both the Senate and Assembly Committees on Veterans Affairs
