Requires the Contractors' State License Board to provide legal representation and indemnification to professionals hired to evaluate licensees, registrants, or applicants when they are named as defendants in civil actions arising from their opinions, statements, or testimony to the board.

Covers civil actions for defamation, tortious interference with prospective business advantage, or other causes of action directly resulting from expertise provided to the board or in proceedings instituted by or involving the board.

Mandates the board utilize the Attorney General for representation, with all legal services charged against the board.

Limits the scope of defense and indemnification rights to those equivalent to protections provided to public employees under Government Code Section 825, without expanding or limiting existing statutory immunities.
