Requires the State Department of Education to establish the California Latino Curriculum Committee before January 1, 2014 to develop curriculum for kindergarten through grade 12 consistent with state standards.

Committee membership includes the Director of the Center for the Study of Latino Health and Culture at UCLA, LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes senior curator, representatives from teacher and administrator associations, school superintendents from northern and southern California, and curriculum and instruction specialists.

Mandates the committee to consult with other ethnic and cultural groups whose roles and contributions are required in social sciences instruction when developing the California Latino curriculum.

Requires the committee to submit the completed California Latino curriculum to the State Board of Education for inclusion in the next revision of the history-social science curriculum framework.
