Honors California Parks and Recreation Service Ranger Patricia M. Scully, who was killed by a drunk driver on May 6, 1976, while on patrol at San Mateo Coast State Beaches in Half Moon Bay; she was the second female law enforcement officer killed in California

Requests the Department of Transportation to determine the cost of appropriate memorial signs and erect them upon receiving donations from nonstate sources to cover the costs

Recognizes Ranger Scully's nine years of dedicated service to the Department of Parks and Recreation and raises awareness about service risks faced by peace officers and park rangers
