Designates the week of May 13 through May 19, 2012, as Food Allergy Awareness Week in California.

Acknowledges that approximately 15 million Americans have food allergies, including nearly 6 million children under 18 years old.

Identifies the eight foods responsible for 90 percent of all food allergy reactions: shellfish, fish, milk, egg, tree nuts, peanuts, soy, and wheat.

Notes that food allergy reactions result in more than 300,000 ambulatory care visits annually for children under 18, with no cure currently available.

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit copies of the resolution to the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network and the bill's author for distribution.
