Calls on United States Congress to pass the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2011 (Senate Bill No. 1925) to continue vital programs protecting women and families from violence and abuse

Authorizes a five-year reauthorization of Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) programs with reduced funding levels of 19 percent from the law's 2005 authorization

Includes updates to strengthen sexual assault response efforts, improve domestic violence homicide prevention, enhance tribal jurisdiction protections, and expand housing protections across nine additional federal housing programs

Notes that domestic violence remains a serious issue with three women killed daily by abusive partners in the United States and 166,361 domestic violence calls in California in 2010, including over 65,000 involving weapons

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit copies of the resolution to congressional leadership and all California representatives in Congress
