Requires the PERS Board of Administration to adopt an education policy for board members covering topics including fiduciary responsibilities, ethics, investments, actuarial matters, and pension fund governance

Mandates all board members complete a minimum of 24 hours of education within their first 2 years of service and every subsequent 2-year period of board membership

Requires the PERS board to establish a process for determining which programs and training sessions qualify as board member education

Requires the board to maintain records of member compliance with the education policy and post the policy and annual compliance reports on the PERS website
