Requires comprehensive school safety plans to include a tactical response plan that safeguards against incidents involving firearms, explosives, or other deadly weapons.

Requires any vote to approve or update a tactical response plan to be announced in open session following a closed session, while prohibiting disclosure of sensitive portions of the plan.

Removes the requirement that school districts publicly announce adoption or update of tactical response plans, but maintains existing privacy protections for sensitive plan details.
