Excludes pasteurized in-shell eggs from standard shell egg labeling requirements and establishes separate labeling standards specific to pasteurized in-shell eggs.

Requires pasteurized in-shell eggs to be labeled with "KEEP REFRIGERATED," sell-by date (up to 75 days from pasteurization), Julian pack date, plant identification number, and "pasteurized" designation.

Allows sell-by date exceptions for pasteurized in-shell eggs packaged for interstate commerce or military sales if using alternative date formats required by receiving states or federal agencies.

Prohibits reprocessing of pasteurized in-shell eggs returned from retail stores, warehouses, and institutions for resale, and requires processors to maintain shelf stability studies on file.

Defines "pasteurized in-shell eggs" as eggs pasteurized by methods approved by the federal Food and Drug Administration or California Department of Food and Agriculture, and took effect immediately upon approval on April 17, 2014.
