Extends the operation of California's wiretapping authorization procedures until January 1, 2020 (previously set to expire January 1, 2015)

Maintains existing law allowing prosecutors to apply for and courts to issue orders authorizing law enforcement to intercept wire or electronic communications

Requires the Attorney General to continue preparing and submitting annual reports to the Legislature, Judicial Council, and Director of the Administrative Office of the United States Courts regarding interceptions

Specifies that violations remain punishable as misdemeanor or felony offenses with penalties as established in law

Declares no state reimbursement to local agencies or school districts is required under Article XIII B of the California Constitution
