Requires drivers involved in accidents where a person is struck to immediately stop at the scene and provide name, current residence address, vehicle registration number, and owner information to the injured person and any other involved drivers

Requires drivers and injured occupants to exhibit driver's license or identification upon request to other parties and police at the accident scene

Violation is punishable as an infraction (fine up to $250) or misdemeanor (up to 6 months jail, fine up to $1,000, or both)

Mandates the Department of Motor Vehicles immediately suspend the driver's license of any convicted driver for 6 months
