California State Auditor must conduct audits beginning January 1, 2015, and every 3 years thereafter until January 1, 2025, of 2 institutions from each public postsecondary education segment to ensure compliance with Title IX regarding sexual harassment and assault.

Institutions found to have practices inconsistent with Title IX, its implementing regulations, and federal guidance must transfer funds from their administrative budget to their Title IX compliance office, with the amount determined by the institution's governing board.

California State Auditor must report to the Legislature within one year of each audit on any transfers of funds made by institutions found to be non-compliant.

The bill's auditing requirements and fund transfer provisions expire January 1, 2025, unless extended by later legislation.
