Prohibits long-term care insurance policies issued, amended, or renewed on or after January 1, 2015, from charging different premiums, prices, or charges based on the sex of the contracting party, potential contracting party, or person expected to benefit from the policy

Prohibits insurers from reducing or eliminating benefits or coverage based on sex as a result of implementing the premium non-discrimination requirements

Defines "sex" to include a person's gender, gender identity, and gender expression, where gender expression means gender-related appearance and behavior regardless of whether it aligns with assigned sex at birth

Applies to all long-term care insurance products including institutional care, home care, and community-based coverage as defined in existing law
