• Adds Section 6401.9 to the Labor Code requiring adult film employers to include specific information in their occupational exposure control plans.

• Mandates documentation that personal protective equipment was used each time employees engaged in vaginal or anal intercourse to protect against bloodborne pathogens.

• Requires employers to verify that employees performing in adult films were tested for sexually transmitted infections according to CDC and California Department of Public Health recommendations not more than 14 days before filming any scene involving vaginal or anal intercourse.

• Requires employees to consent to disclosure of HIV test results to the Division of Occupational Safety and Health, with the employer paying for all tests.

• Allows the Division of Occupational Safety and Health to require any additional information in exposure control plans as deemed necessary.
