Reduces the court notification deadline to the Department of Justice from 2 court days to 1 court day after issuing orders that prohibit individuals from possessing firearms due to mental health adjudications, insanity findings, incompetency findings, or conservatorship placements.

Applies the accelerated notification requirement to courts finding individuals dangerous due to mental disorder, not guilty by reason of insanity of specified crimes, mentally incompetent to stand trial, or placed under conservatorship with firearm prohibitions.

Requires courts to also notify the Department of Justice within 1 court day when issuing certificates of restoration or recovery that remove firearm prohibitions for previously restricted individuals.

Maintains all existing electronic submission requirements and confidentiality protections for notifications submitted to the Department of Justice regarding prohibited firearm possession.
