Authorizes academic employees of community college districts to take up to 30 days of leave in a school year within the first year of an infant's birth (biological parent) or legal adoption (nonbiological parent)

Authorizes probationary or permanent classified community college employees to take up to 30 days of leave in a school year within the first year of an infant's birth (biological parent) or legal adoption (nonbiological parent)

Provisions do not apply to employers and employees subject to collective bargaining agreements in effect before January 1, 2015, until those agreements expire or are renewed
