Modifies permanent employee classification for certificated school employees effective July 1, 2015, limiting eligibility to those in nonsupervisory, nonmanagement positions.

For school districts with 250+ average daily attendance: employees attain permanent status after 2 consecutive years of employment and reelection (reduced from 3 years for pre-1983 employees).

For school districts with fewer than 250 average daily attendance: employees attain permanent status after 3 consecutive years of employment and reelection in nonsupervisory, nonmanagement positions.

Includes service at regional occupational centers and programs in computing years of service required for permanent employee classification, effective July 1, 2015.

Extends similar permanent employee status provisions to certificated employees of county offices of education, with requirements varying based on whether the county has 250+ or fewer than 250 average daily attendance.
