Expands the list of qualified translators for candidate statements in voter pamphlets to include accredited translators registered with the American Translators Association, in addition to those from approved superior court lists or accredited institutions.

Allows elections officials to select accredited translators registered with the American Translators Association to provide Spanish translations of ballot measures and ballot instructions posted at polling places.

Maintains existing translation requirements while broadening the pool of eligible translators for both candidate statements and ballot materials.

Applies to local agency elections for nonpartisan offices and polling place materials during elections.
