Authorizes the State Board of Forestry and Fire Protection to adopt alternative stocking standards for timber harvesting operations beyond the existing minimum acceptable standards.

Alternative standards must reasonably address variables in forest characteristics and achieve suitable resource conservation to comply with the Z'berg-Nejedly Forest Practice Act of 1973.

Allows flexibility in stocking standards (currently set at an average of 300 points per acre within 5 years after timber operations) while maintaining resource conservation goals.

Approved by the Governor on August 19, 2014, and filed with the Secretary of State the same date.
