Requires the Medical Board of California to consider including a course in geriatric care for emergency room physicians and surgeons as part of continuing education requirements.

Adds geriatric care to the list of courses the board shall consider requiring for physicians and surgeons, alongside existing courses in human sexuality, nutrition, child abuse detection, elder abuse detection, substance abuse, spousal abuse, end-of-life care, and pain management.

Makes technical and conforming changes to reflect that the Medical Board of California now handles continuing education responsibilities previously held by the Division of Licensing.

Officially designated as the Dolores H. Fox Act.
