Raises the initial face value threshold for funeral and burial expense life insurance policies from $15,000 to $20,000 for life-only license applicants limited by written agreement with an insurer.

Exempts applicants restricted to selling only these specified $20,000 or less policies from taking the full life agent examination; instead requires a limited examination testing knowledge of relevant policy types.

Removes education standard requirements for licensed life agents and applicants who are limited by written agreement to transact only the specified funeral and burial expense policies with initial face value of $20,000 or less.

Exempts life agents limited to these $20,000 or less funeral and burial policies from compliance with certain continuing education and appointment notice requirements under Sections 1749 and 1749.3 of the Insurance Code.
