Maintains existing protections prohibiting disclosure of confidential home addresses except to courts, law enforcement agencies, State Board of Equalization, and attorneys with court-authorized subpoenas.

Preserves three-year confidentiality period for home addresses following termination of employment, with permanent protection for retired peace officers upon request.

Establishes that violation of confidentiality protections for peace officers and their spouses or children resulting in bodily injury is a felony offense.
