Reenacts provisions allowing termination of child support to constitute a change of circumstances for spousal support modification requests in family law proceedings.

Requires any motion to modify spousal support based on child support termination to be filed within 6 months of the child support order's termination date.

Provides exceptions where child support termination does not trigger spousal support modification rights, including when settlement agreements specify what occurs at termination or when spousal support is nonmodifiable or waived.

Allows parties whose 6-month filing deadline expired between January 1, 2014 and September 30, 2014 to file modification motions until December 31, 2014 to address the lapse in prior law.

Takes effect immediately as an urgency statute to prevent disruption to the judicial system and protect family law case participants.
