Requires the State Department of Education to incorporate materials related to the Armenian Genocide into curriculum resource publications consistent with history and social science frameworks.

Requires the Instructional Quality Commission to include the Armenian Genocide in the recommended history-social science curriculum framework when it is revised.

Encourages incorporation of survivor, rescuer, liberator, and witness oral testimony (in-person, video, or multimedia formats) into teaching of human rights, Holocaust, and genocides including Armenian, Cambodian, Darfur, and Rwandan genocides.

Encourages state and local professional development activities to provide teachers with content background and resources for teaching about civil rights, human rights violations, genocide, slavery, the Holocaust, and Armenian Genocide.

Requires the Great Irish Famine of 1845-50 to be considered in the next curriculum framework and materials adoption cycle.
