Authorizes the California Transportation Commission to relinquish to the Town of Tiburon the portion of State Highway Route 131 east of the intersection with Lyford Drive within town limits, subject to an agreement between the Department of Transportation and the town.

Relinquishment becomes effective on the date following the county recorder's recordation of the relinquishment resolution and the relinquished portion ceases to be a state highway.

Prohibits the relinquished portion of Route 131 from future adoption as a state highway under existing law.

Requires the Town of Tiburon to maintain traffic flow continuity on the relinquished portion, including traffic signal progression where applicable.

Requires the Town of Tiburon to install and maintain signs directing motorists to the continuation of Route 131 within its jurisdiction as deemed necessary by the Department of Transportation.
