Establishes the Commission on the Status of Women and Girls as a 17-member state commission with members appointed from the Legislature, state agencies, and the Governor.

Requires one of the seven public members appointed by the Governor to be a veteran or a member of the military.

Specifies that public member appointees of the Governor, Speaker of the Assembly, and Senate Committee on Rules serve four-year terms.

Directs appointing powers to make every effort to ensure geographic balance in representation when making public member appointments to the commission.
