Proclaims June 11, 2014, and June 11 of each subsequent year as California LGBT Veterans Day to be celebrated statewide

Acknowledges service members who served honorably but were discharged and lost benefits when their LGBT status became known under the "Don't Ask Don't Tell" policy and other military antihomosexual policies

Recognizes that California was unable to properly honor and provide state benefits to these veterans due to the manner of their military discharge

Notes that discrimination based on LGBT status has been eliminated from the United States Armed Forces, California Military Department, California National Guard, and State Military Reserve

Directs the Chief Clerk of the Assembly to transmit copies of the resolution for appropriate distribution
