Requests Congress to pass and the President to sign Senate Bill 1281 and House Resolution 2654 to add federal protections against employment and housing discrimination based on military and veteran status

Encourages California's Congressional Delegation members to join as coauthors on the federal measures

Notes that California already added military and veteran status protections to its Fair Employment and Housing Act through Assembly Bill 556 (2013)

Acknowledges that veterans face employment disadvantages during transition to civilian life and are often subject to negative stereotypes and discrimination

Directs the Assembly Chief Clerk to transmit the resolution to the President, Vice President, and members of Congress
