Designates the week of April 20-26, 2014, as National Multicultural Cancer Awareness Week in California

Encourages continued research into policies and programs that reduce cancer disparities and improve cancer prevention, detection, treatment, and follow-up care for all Californians

Urges the President and Congress of the United States to recognize National Multicultural Cancer Awareness Week

Identifies significant cancer disparities among California populations including higher mortality rates among African Americans, Latinos, Asian Americans, Pacific Islanders, and LGBTQ+ communities

Directs the Chief Clerk of the Assembly to transmit copies of the resolution to the President, Vice President, congressional leaders, and California's federal representatives
