Designates Saturday, October 4, 2014, and the first Saturday in October of each subsequent year, as Old Spanish Trail Day in California.

Recognizes the Old Spanish Trail as a major Southwestern trade and migration route used between 1829 and 1848 spanning approximately 3,500 miles across six states (Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah).

Commends the Old Spanish Trail Association (OSTA), a nonprofit organization with membership in 27 states and 13 local chapters, for its efforts to study, preserve, protect, interpret, and educate the public about the trail's multicultural heritage.

Acknowledges that the Old Spanish Trail became the 15th National Historic Trail when Congress adopted S. 1946 in November 2002 and President George W. Bush signed it into law in December 2002.
