Designates August 26, 2014, as Women's Equality Day in recognition of the Nineteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, which secured women's voting rights on August 26, 1920.

Acknowledges the first women's rights convention held on July 19, 1848, organized by Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Lucretia Mott as the beginning of organized efforts for women's equality.

Recognizes significant federal legislation advancing women's rights, including the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (barring employment discrimination) and Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (guaranteeing equal educational and sports opportunities).

Honors the contributions of women who have advocated for equal rights through planning, organizing, marching, lobbying, and legal action.

Directs the Chief Clerk of the Assembly to transmit copies of the resolution to the author for distribution.
