Requires agent resignation statements for service of process to be filed on Secretary of State-prescribed forms; authorizes Secretary of State to destroy old resignation forms after new agent forms are filed.

Allows persons to cancel registered names for business entities by delivering a certificate of cancellation on prescribed forms to the Secretary of State.

Requires foreign limited liability companies adopting new names to relinquish alternate names if the new name complies with naming requirements.

Conditions reinstatement of fraudulently terminated business entities on concurrent filing of a name change amendment if the entity name conflicts with available names.

Makes conforming amendments to Corporations Code sections regarding business entity filings, conversions, mergers, and dissolutions across multiple entity types (corporations, partnerships, limited partnerships, limited liability companies, and credit unions).
