Regional centers must provide independent living skills services to adult consumers that enable them to acquire or maintain skills for independent or greater independence living, consistent with their individual program plan.

Annual performance objectives for regional center contracts must be designed to develop culturally and linguistically appropriate services and supports to meet identified needs.

When a regional center is placed on probation, the department must provide the correction plan and timeline to both the area board and the clients' rights advocacy contractor.

Regional centers must collect and post data on purchase of services categorized by age, race/ethnicity, primary language, disability, and residence type, including information on eligible individuals not receiving services.

Regional centers must hold annual public stakeholder meetings separate from board meetings, scheduled at times and locations to encourage high public attendance, with data discussions conducted in a culturally and linguistically appropriate manner for the community.
