CA SB1343

Amends Section 487.010 of the Code of Civil Procedure to expand property subject to attachment in financial abuse cases involving elders or dependent adults.

Establishes that if an attachment is issued pursuant to Section 15657.01 of the Welfare and Institutions Code, any property of the defendant becomes subject to attachment (previously limited categories applied).

Makes technical corrections to existing attachment law language, replacing "where" with "if" throughout the statute.

Removes previous provisions regarding attorney's fees, costs, and punitive damages in financial abuse cases from the legislative scope.
