Extends the deadline for fire prevention fees to be due and payable from 30 to 60 days from the date of assessment by the State Board of Equalization

Extends the time period for filing a petition for redetermination of fire prevention fees from 30 to 60 days after service of notice of determination

Allows the department to reconsider and eliminate fire prevention fees based on a determination that the applicant is not subject to the fee requirements

Applies to structures located on parcels within state responsibility areas, as determined by the State Board of Forestry and Fire Protection
