Accept private foundation contributions of at least $6,000,000 for Medi-Cal renewal assistance payments starting January 1, 2015

Appropriate $6,000,000 from the Healthcare Outreach and Medi-Cal Enrollment Account and $6,000,000 from the Federal Trust Fund, available for expenditure until December 31, 2016

Allocate funds to community-based organizations and counties to provide renewal assistance training and payments to Medi-Cal beneficiaries

Require the department to develop renewal assistance training in collaboration with County Welfare Directors Association and legal services organizations, with trained employees eligible for payments

Seek federal matching funds and approvals for training, testing, certifying, and compensating persons providing renewal assistance activities
