Requires awarding bodies to furnish the Labor Commissioner with a notice of completion or acceptance document within 10 days of a written request, whichever occurs later.

Tolls the statute of limitations for wage assessments until the Labor Commissioner receives the required completion or acceptance document if the awarding body fails to provide it timely.

Eliminates delays caused by the Director of Industrial Relations determining whether a project qualifies as a public work, which previously resulted in expired statutes of limitations and unpaid prevailing wages.

Applies tolling provisions to actions brought by joint labor-management committees under Section 1771.2.
