Extends the operation of California's wiretapping authorization procedures until January 1, 2020 (previously set to expire January 1, 2015)

Maintains existing law allowing prosecutors to apply for court orders authorizing law enforcement to intercept wire and electronic communications

Preserves the requirement for the Attorney General to submit annual reports to the Legislature, Judicial Council, and Director of the Administrative Office of the United States Courts regarding interceptions

Keeps violations of wiretapping provisions punishable as misdemeanor or felony offenses

Declares that no state reimbursement to local agencies is required under this extension
